On offer is this lovely shallow bowl / dish. It’s in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable areas of ware exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as notable light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age; there are also notable darkened specks which appear to be a manufacturing flaw (please refer to images) but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It’s in the novelty form of a leaf complete with grooved veins & charming handle with a bunch of berries - the detailing is of a good standard which displays ever so well still. Supported by charming ball feet. The underside of the handle stalk shows a very small mark WMFM I/O as, German produced by WMF. It measures a decorative 27.5cm (10 & 3/4 inches) by 25.5cm (10 inches) by 6.5cm (2 & 1/2 inches) in total height to the top of the leaf tip (front) - all outer measurements. A lovely table addition which despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
